Privacy Policy

Last updated September 23, 2026

Webbi Websites ("Webbi", "we") is a small web design business run by Stephen Springfield in Auburn, Alabama. This policy explains what information we collect through webbiwebsites.com and through our email outreach, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to webbiwebsites@gmail.com.

Information you give us

Please don't send sensitive information such as passwords, payment card numbers or health information through our forms or by email.

Information we collect automatically

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels, and its fonts and images are served from our own site. Our hosting provider, Netlify, receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you visit, as any web host does, in order to deliver the pages and protect the service.

Businesses we contact by email

We email local businesses that don't appear to have a website, to ask whether they'd like one. To do that, we collect business information that is publicly available: the business name, address, phone number, category and Google rating and review count from Google Maps, and any email address the business has published online, which we find through web search. We keep this in a database on our own computer.

Our emails are drafted with the help of an AI system (Claude, made by Anthropic) using only the facts listed above, and a person reads and approves every message before it's sent. Each email includes our postal address and a link to unsubscribe. If you unsubscribe or ask us to stop, we won't email you again.

Who we share information with

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business, and only as needed for their part of the work:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and emails for as long as we need them to respond and to keep records of our work. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except that we keep unsubscribed email addresses on a do-not-contact list so we can make sure we never email them again.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. Contact us and we'll respond to your request.

Children

Our services are for businesses, and this website isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit who can access the information we hold. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we can't guarantee its absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
